Update

Sorry, been MIA for a moment… Too much has been going on but we’re definitely hanging in there.

Baby and I are doing fine, thanks for asking everyone! Baby is definitely getting big and he is so active, always kicking me! DH and I are going to go register this coming weekend, probably at Target and Babies R Us! :D Although I have no clue what to register for… I just feel like I don’t have that motherly instinct quite yet. Got to do some research on strollers and car seats to see which will be the best for us. I heard from some moms at work that Babies R Us is very helpful. We still got to make a decision on a crib but don’t know which one yet. All I know is that we’ll be getting a crib that matches our bedroom set since baby will be in our room for a while. Unfortunately, I don’t have many friends who are moms yet so don’t know where to start. Any pointers from you moms out there would be awesome! So far, things with the pregnancy has been getting better. The first 3-4 months were really hard but now I can see why everyone raves about the 2nd trimester. I am hoping that the 3rd trimester will be as easy as the 2nd, or hopefully not as hard as the 1st. I don’t know how people just pop them out and I definitely give you props... I know hubby wants lots of kids but I am definitely taking one at a time.

So this past weekend, DH and I ended up in Chicago. We did some sight seeing, went to the Art Institute and Science and Industry Museum. It was a lot of fun! I definitely recommend going to the Science and Industry Museum, especially if you have kids cause they will definitely enjoy it! We ate way too much and didn’t get to shop enough… :D I’m thinking about taking another trip there just to shop! Hahaha :D
